The first step
is showing up.
Hi there!

Welcome to my page!

Work With Me
-
Budding
It’s okay to start off as closed and afraid. It can take some time to feel safe to open up, and to explore parts of yourself that you’ve kept hidden.
-
Growing
As we build trust and rapport, we will identify things that make it hard to grow and change, and find ways to move past them.
-
Blooming
After learning about your stuck points and triggers, you will have the tools to fully bloom and flourish in the life you want. You will move from surviving to thriving.
About Therapy
-
I hold the belief that everyone can benefit from therapy. Therapy is not just for those who are severely “mentally ill” or “struggling.” The therapy room can be a safe space for you to explore and get to know the more vulnerable and intimate parts of yourself, the darker parts of yourself, the more unknown parts of yourself. The metaphor I like to use when describing the process of therapy is that before therapy, you are walking around in a dark room. You may trip on some clothes, stub your toe on the couch, bump into the coffee table, touch something that you’re not sure of, and use your hands and other senses to help you navigate something you can’t see. Therapy is the light switch, turning on the lights so you can finally see the room you’re trying to navigate. You’ll come to know the couch, the coffee table, and all the other items in your room more intimately, why they’re there, the function they serve, and where they started, so you can begin maneuvering around them with ease and confidence.
I know starting can feel difficult and scary. But, your presence on this page is not a coincidence, and tells me that you are ready to do the deeper work. I know that therapy and inner work can feel like a big commitment and investment, that is completely true! It is a big commitment and investment, but one that is completely worth it, because it will help you navigate a dark room with inner light and peace.
